"I wanted to send an email which I was hoping that you could share with all of the lovely people who were part of the food collection team yesterday. I was absolutely well and truly over whelmed by what we were given firstly and then to go into the second area and find more things I was just shocked, I could not believe the kindness. When I was told to look after the envelope as it had money in it, I was so confused as to why I had been given so much and then money, all I could do was cry to the lady. It was just so much more than I think anyone could hope for. My 5yr olds face when I turned up with a huge box of stuff was just brilliant-he couldn’t wait to get it unpacked! But the biggest thing for me was the genuine, honest and lovely kindness of the ladies helping. I think that took my breath away as much, probably more than the parcel. You could see in their faces that they were there because they wanted to be and because they really wished the best for us all. It was like arms wrapped around you (not physically obviously) as soon as you stepped inside. Sometimes that in itself is just what you need. Please please pass this message onto them with the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart. If at any point I can repay you all with volunteered hours doing absolutely anything I would be more than happy to do so. You all deserve such recognition. Thank you again"

From meals in the canteen with odd bits from the Food bank to what in comparison, seems a fairly well oiled 'production' of todays collection. And for the help and support, physically, financially AND emotionally, that has been offered boundlesly. "The work that is being done has really softened the ‘blow’ of the recent situation and massive changes in all our lives - with respect especially to the crucial and daily topic of feeding the kids and keeping the cupboards topped up.
